Our research helps individuals, children, and families affected by neurodevelopmental conditions. We work to understand how early atypical developmental processes affect cognitive and psychiatric risk outcomes for those with Down syndrome or fragile X syndrome. Our research incorporates a biobehavioral approach, including measures of physiology and behavior, and is centered within a Dynamic Systems (Bioecological) theoretical framework. Dr. Will hopes that, with the help of individuals and families participating in her projects, this research will optimize developmental outcomes for individuals and families.
